Hey guys! This is finally our Answer post! But first, I want to ask you all to pray for Dad. He is having a flare-up of his diverticulitis that (last time) made him have to go to the hospital for several days. We are treating it herbally right now, but would appreciate prayer!
Now. Questions for Rachel:
What is your favorite poem? Wow. This is really hard...I love all of Tolkien's poems, and Robert Louis Stevenson, Rachel Field, and Sir Walter Scott. Can't pick poems, but poets.
Do you know how many stories you have attempted to write? I think about 13 or 14.
How are you able to write such lovely poetry? Well...*blush* I don't really know. I just will get a phrase in my head about something or another, and it becomes a poem....I don't have any big method, except that at the top of my page I label all the consonants so that I can rhyme quickly and easily.
What would you do if you received a love letter signed "Egbert"? "My dear Egbert. Your gallantry far outshines your name. At our wedding ceremony, we shall both take new names. I shall take your surname, and you shall become William."
Do you like ballads? Depends on what kind....some Irish ones are all about drinking and whiskey and I don't like those. But I love the good old ones!
What is the most inspirational place to be while writing poems? Gracious...ummmm...outdoors usually, on the front porch, or in a group setting where someone says something funny and it sets me to thinking...or when someone is sick and my sympathy is working. *smiles at Abigail*
How do you find time to post and comment so much? I am a great crack-filler. I am constantly busy and am an expert at "spacial skills" regarding time and all that. I never have a dull moment, and just do things in spare minutes.

A-Slightly-More-Than-6-Month-Anniversary-Question-And-Answer-Post :)
Hey Guys! How is everyone this Tuesday? :) We are doing well, but have been keeping late nights for one reason or another, and so are only half alive in the mornings. ;) The weather here has been great! Only around 75 degrees! Yay! This last Sunday and the week before were such drastic differences. It was 100 degrees the last week, (with no A/C) and then 75 degrees this week! :) Needless to say, every was much happier this time! :) Anyway, I have been thinking that I want to do another question and answer post on here, because...they are fun! So here's the deal: I would like to see us get 50-100 questions to answer! You can continue to ask us questions until Friday, and then Saturday we can answer them all! (We'll continue to post in the meantime, so you'll just have to scroll down :) We have 33 followers, and so that is less than three questions a person if you all do it! :) Do as many as you want, and direct them toward me, Sarah, or both of us- whichever you want! Look forward to reading and answering all your questions! :) -Rachel
P.S. I began a writing blog as a sort of off-shoot of this blog, so that those of you who like reading about my writing and things, can read it there, and I won't take up so many of the posts Sarah could be doing on here! ;) You can get to it by clicking this:

Hey guys!
Since we have the permission of Miss Abigail, I thought now would be as good of a time as any for doing one of these posts. So, any questions you have feel free to leave as a comment and probably on Wednesday we'll answer them. (I shouldn't really say "feel free" it's more like PLEASE LEAVE LOTS OF COMMENTS OR ELSE I'M GONNA CRY! =)
