Pardon Me if You Actually Like These Things! :)

Why? Why? Maybe I am just weird and old-fashioned but I still must ask why?!?!? Someday we will all cover our eyes, shake our heads, and blush, just as guilty of strangeness as people were when they thought leg-warmers were fashionable. Do you know what I'm talking about? I'll give you a clue. Tweens wear them up and down both arms. They are stretchy. They are neon colors. They are...*drumroll* SILLY BANDS!

Silly Bands are tools of destruction, (if you begin to shoot them) and people trade them like baseball cards. Oh boy. So far I am not guilty of owning them. *phew* But I am still trying to figure out this mania for odd rubber shapes...I mean, sometimes I can't even tell what the blasted thing is supposed to be! Maybe they are just fun. But when I was little and wore rubber bands on my wrists, everyone told me they would cut off my circulation, and besides- they pinched the hair on my arms! :D I know lots of people who wear them. My own sisters in fact! (though not in extreme quantities :) Maybe I should start a War effort of saving rubber for the soldiers or something... ;) I think I'll make some people mad with this, so pardon me if you wear Silly Bands! :D Or maybe, I should just...get some myself. No chance of that! I once put on one of Sarah's, and it looked so foreign on my wrist that it felt like I was looking at someone else's arm. So I don't wear them. Oh well! Like I said- someday, everyone will remember these alongside aviator glasses, (which are MAKING A COMEBACK! :[ ) leg-warmers, big hair, hangy-down jeans, (THOSE WILL GO OUT!!!!!) and puffy leather jackets!
