Several Random Things

Bonjour! You know, I wonder, if in other countries there is a greeting that is considered all "American". Probably boring old "Hello." or, if they've been reading this blog: "Hey guys!" Another thing- when I type "Hey guys!" I inevitably first say "Hey gusy". Who is Gusy? It sounds like the name of a goose to me. Aw! Now I want a goose named Gussy. Two "S"s because it looks tidier! (Now that that is out of the way...)
Do any of you all go by different names than your own? Whenever I write anything, or like on my Amazon wishlist, I go by Josie Inpen. (My Girls' Gazette pen name, remember, is Josephine Ava Inkpen) Then, whenever I do anything with herbs, I am Auld Mary. (The name of a Scottish "yarb-woman" in a Little House book) So I order all my seeds and catalogs and things of that sort by that name. It amuses me to do so, but it sort of creeps Sarah out! :)

I never want to write something that people sit down in a boring class and disect for symbolizm. It really irritates me to do that. Although, I would like to write something that had no hidden meaning, but that someone dissected and listen to what they thought they found! :) Anyway, I've gotta skitter upstairs to get into gardening clothes, and then ho-hum out we go! :) -Rachel
