Hey Everybody! Wow! Ya'll did a great job guessing about me since many of you have only met me a couple times! As I predicted, Miss Morgan did a wonderful job and guessed every swingin' question correctly! (clap, clap, clap) I am glad you didn't fail in this test of our 17 year long friendship! ;) Hannah and Melissa came in close second, each only missing one question! The rest of you did a wonderful job! I only frown upon Katie, Elliott, and Abigail who thought I would stoop low enough to paint a chia pet! (I shudder at the mention of those strange and unworldly things. Terra Cotta gives me the shivers when I touch it! :) So, Morgan, what should we do a poll about? Okay! Here are the real answers!
1. "What is my favorite kind of tootsie pop?
Answer: raspberry
2. "What is my method to memorizing scripture?"
Answer: reading it over and over again until it is familiar and easily called up.
3. "Do I like rainy days?"
Answer: depending on the day (usually I like them)
4. "If I could pick one group of three things to do on a December Saturday I would..."
Answer: Write a letter to Mrs. Foster or another friend, laugh with Daniel, Sarah, and Mama late at night, and read an enthralling book that captures my imagination like Duncan's War or Little Women. (The first dozen times I read it)
5. "Yesterday my creative accomplishment was?"
Answer: writing 4 new poems in a short time span
6. "If I could order my first wee bairn (s) as a baby it would be:"
Answer: A pair of red headed twins (a lad and a lass) that are chubby and rosy and laugh alot and have blue eyes
So there you have it! Morgan is the Master of Me, and by the way to answer Kelsey's questions, I NEVER make prank calls (I blush to answer the phone when anyone from church calls much less call a perfect STRANGER! No one believes me when I say I am shy when I meet someone new.) And, yes, the mud did come out of my Civil War skirt nicely.
The nursing home singing went well! The people really liked Gracie! All the elderly ladies wanted her on their lap! Then we went to sing at two other houses. Yay! Sarah will do her questions tomorrow! :) Oh! And thank you Mr. Donahue (everything rhymes with your name! Sorry!) for following our blog! -Rachel
